1Who we are

Artos is a cloud accounting and business management system, built in Arabic and provided by R2S. This page explains what we measure and what we store when you visit our public website — the home page, the business-sector pages, the FAQ, the complete guide, and the sign-in and sign-up pages — and what your choices are.

2What we measure automatically

We measure visits in order to understand how the site is used, and those visits stay anonymous unless you identify yourself or are signed in to your Artos account (details in section 3). This is what we record:

• The pages you view, and the time you actually spend browsing them.
• Your approximate country and city, based on your internet connection.
• Your device type (phone, tablet or computer), browser and operating system.
• Your browser language (ar or en, for example).
• The site you arrived from (a search engine or a social media link, for example) and any campaign tags carried in that link.
• A random identifier saved in your browser's local storage under the name r2s_vid so that a returning visit can be told apart from a new visitor, along with a short-lived session identifier that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.

We do not store your IP address. It is used momentarily only, to estimate your country and to prevent abuse, after being converted into an encrypted fingerprint that changes daily, and it is never written to our database. Our hosting provider may retain short-lived technical logs for security and operational purposes; those sit outside our statistics.

This measurement does not run inside the Artos system's own screens (invoices, inventory and the rest) — only on the pages of the public website.

3What we collect if you provide it

There are only two cases in which we know your name or your email address:

• When you fill in the download form for the complete guide: name and email address (required), mobile number and company name (optional).
• When you are signed in to your Artos account and browse the public website: we link the visit to the account's email address and name.

Beyond that your visits remain anonymous, and we make no attempt to identify you by any other means: no device fingerprinting and no tracking across other websites.

4Why we use this data

• To improve the website and learn what visitors genuinely care about.
• To send you the guide you asked for.
• To contact you about your interest in Artos — and only if you provided your details yourself.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or marketing agencies.

5Where it is stored and who can see it

It is stored in a cloud database (Supabase) on servers in Europe or the United States. Only the platform's owners can view it, through a restricted admin console; it is not available to the public, nor to any ordinary user.

6How long we keep it

• Data on anonymous visitors: 24 months from the last visit, after which it is deleted automatically.
• Data on visitors who identified themselves (name or email): 36 months from the last visit, after which it is deleted automatically.

7Your choices and your rights

• Use the button below this list to stop the measurement in this browser, or switch it back on, at any time.
• Add ?notrack=1 to the end of the address of any page on the public website (for example artoserp.com/?notrack=1) to exclude this browser from our statistics, and add ?notrack=0 to switch the measurement back on.
• We honour your browser's Do Not Track signal: if it is enabled, we do not measure your visit.
• You may clear this site's data from your browser at any time, which removes the random identifier saved on your device.
• To request access to your data, or its permanent deletion, message us on one of the WhatsApp numbers shown at the bottom of this page, quoting the email address you used, and we will delete everything relating to you.

8Data held inside Artos itself

This policy covers the public website only. Data entered by companies inside the Artos system (invoices, customers, inventory and so on) is owned by each company, is governed by that company's agreement with Artos and by its own policies, and forms no part of the public website's statistics.
